Oceanic Awareness Collaboration Auction: Feburary 18, 2012
This year the O.A.C. has decided to hold its annual art Auction titled “Art on the Move” in San Fran. I’m working on a little sumthin sumthin for Tanner & Clay. It just so happens i was floored by the North Pacific Gyre when i watched a show called TOXIC. The amount of garbage that collects in the ocean is the size of TEXAS.HOW could this BE? I decided to see how i could really stop buying plastic,I mean its completely man made and can not biodegrade back to nature..it biodegrade back to bits of plastic that look like plankton and then our fish eat it and who doesn’t love sushi..completing the circle of we make shit we eat shit! SO i will always do this show it’s important to me as well as my Husband Jeff Lawter, who is amazing and super creative being & a very good friend of ours Jimmy Rodriguez, also super creative.
